Product Applications
1. Nano zirconium carbide is used in fibers: Different zirconium carbide and silicon carbide FEN contents and addition methods affect the near-infrared absorption performance of fibers. When the zirconium carbide or silicon carbide content in the fiber reaches 4% (by weight), the fiber exhibits excellent near-infrared absorption. Adding zirconium carbide and silicon carbide to the shell layer of the fiber results in better near-infrared absorption than adding them to the core layer.
2. Nano zirconium carbide is used in new thermal insulation and temperature-regulating textiles: Zirconium carbide has the properties of absorbing visible light and reflecting infrared rays. After absorbing short-wavelength energy below 2μm, which accounts for 95% of sunlight, it converts the energy into heat and stores it in the material. It also reflects infrared wavelengths above 2μm. The infrared wavelength generated by the human body is about 10μm. When wearing textiles containing Nano-ZrC, human infrared radiation is less likely to dissipate outward. This indicates that zirconium carbide has ideal heat absorption and storage properties, making it suitable for use in new thermal insulation and temperature-regulating textiles.
3. Nano zirconium carbide is used in hard alloys, powder metallurgy, abrasives, etc.: Zirconium carbide is an important high-melting-point, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant high-temperature structural material. Its excellent characteristics make it highly applicable in hard alloys, improving strength, corrosion resistance, etc.
